AffordCare Home Care is proud to be a local agency serving families exclusively in King and Pierce Counties. We provide high-quality care to residents in Gig Harbor, University Place, Tacoma, Puyallup, Auburn, Federal Way, Kent, Seattle, Bellevue and Kirkland and surrounding communities.

Common signs include difficulty managing daily tasks (bathing, dressing), frequent falls, forgetting medications, or signs of social isolation. We offer a free in-home consultation to help assess your loved one’s needs and determine if home care is the right fit.

Yes. We often partner with local assisted living and memory care communities (like GenCare) to provide one-on-one supplemental care. Whether your loved one is at home or in a facility, we provide the dedicated attention they deserve.

In many situations, we can begin services within 24 to 48 hours following a complimentary home care consultation. We move quickly because we know that many families contact us during a time of transition or hospital discharge.

Trust is our priority. Every AffordCare caregiver undergoes a rigorous multi-step screening process, including comprehensive background checks and skills assessments. We pay our caregivers a competitive wage to ensure we attract and retain the most compassionate, professional talent in the Pacific Northwest.

The first step is a Free Care Consultation. We’ll meet with you and your loved one to discuss their needs, lifestyle, and preferences. From there, we create a customized care plan tailored specifically to your family.

Specialized & Memory Care

Absolutely. Our leadership team has extensive experience as Executive Directors of 60+ bed memory care units. We bring that high-level clinical expertise into the home setting, focusing on safety, engagement, and dignity for those living with cognitive decline.

We strive for “Caregiver Consistency.” We know that for seniors, especially those with memory care needs, familiarity is vital. We work hard to match your loved one with a caregiver who fits their personality and schedule so a genuine bond can form.

Our leadership team brings over 15 years of experience directing large-scale assisted living and memory care units. We translate that professional clinical expertise into the home environment, providing specialized support for Alzheimer’s and Dementia that focuses on safety, dignity, and engagement.

Scheduling & Logistics

To ensure our clients receive consistent, high-quality support and that our caregivers can build meaningful relationships, we typically like to see a minimum of 20 hours per week. We find this consistency leads to much better health outcomes for our seniors. However we work with families to get a schedule that works for them.

We understand that needs change. We offer flexible scheduling, whether you need 4 hours of respite care a week or 24/7 around-the-clock support. Just give our Federal Way office a call to adjust your plan.

Cost & Staffing

Because every care plan is unique, pricing depends on the level of care and number of hours required. We strive to live up to our name, AffordCare, by providing high-quality care that is competitively priced. Contact us for a personalized quote.

Yes. Every AffordCare caregiver undergoes a rigorous background check and specialized training. We are fully licensed, bonded, and insured, ensuring that both our clients and our staff are protected.

Yes. While we are a private-pay agency, we work closely with most Long-Term Care Insurance (LTCI) providers.
